Dr. Oluyemi A. Olawaiye left for the shores of America November of 1992. In 1995, he moved from New York city after having attended New York city technical college, to Buffalo, New York after he was admitted to the State University of New York in Buffalo for Doctor of Pharmacy program. He graduated in 2003 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Minor in Marketing from the school of Management. He was offered a position as a pharmacist right after completing his doctorate program with CVS pharmacy company in New Jersey. He moved back to New York to work for another fortune 500 company Duane Reade in 2004 to 2009. In 2010, he decided to take his first teaching appointment in a clinical setting at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, the largest private hospital in Bronx New York where he remained utill 2014. In 2010 simultaneously while at the hospital, he became an entrepreneur, when he started a car company rightfully called Otesco Inc., which he ran simultaneously and sold the company 2014. In 2011 he along with his wife started Yeloto African Children Foundation a charity organization. YELOTO is an NGO that provides basic needs like health care, education and nutrition for under priviledged children across Africa. Dr. Olawaiye believes in the old adage "It takes a global village to raise a child". In 2015, he took on a Clinical role with Nassau County Medical Center pharmacy Department, the number one trauma center on Long Island where he remains till date working for the State Of New York
